On any regular day, Amsterdam is the party stop for travelers around the world. On King’s Day though, everything gets turned up a notch! The party scenes spill out into the streets, everyone is in royal spirits, and you see orange everywhere! It’s a toast to the Royal family!
Quirky facepaint, wigs, and dresses, revelry at every turn – this is Koningsnacht and Koningsdag for you! Are you already looking for all things orange in your wardrobe? #ididthisinamsterdam
Amsterdam – the City of Freedom is on the bucket list for almost everyone, and if you’re going to visit Amsterdam once in your lifetime, then it better be on King’ Day! Experience the coffeeshops, indulge in retail therapy at quirky boutiques, cruise on canals, watch carnivals on show, drive past windmills, try the famous Dutch Edam cheese, and maybe…buy a pair of clogs! Do this all in a sea of tangerine with millions of other travelers partying out on the streets all day and all night long!
Dare you return home without trying out the world’s most famous French fries! Ready to stand in line for some of that? We know we are! #amsterdamfriesyesplease
Berlin! Europe’s coolest city has a great mix of hip new culture as well as history. The nightlife is buzzing 24/7, and there is something for everyone in this rocking city. Be it fabulous food, alternative culture, cutting edge architecture, and insane underground parties!
The glitz and glamour of Prague is hypnotic. Cobblestoned streets, old-world charm – a place where everything is nothing short of PRETTY!! Fall in love with this prettiness in the most picturesque city of our world – Prague! Ride on her charming trams, explore the castles with a local guide, indulge in some beer tasting, and of course, do not miss out on the “Green Fairy” Absinthe (faint hearted folks, step aside please) in Praha.
Your backpacking trip will be incomplete without a visit to the UNESCO site of Cesky Crumlov and sampling some of the traditional Trdelník. Prahas’s hidden taverns offer an insight into the unique cuisine and culture of the Czechs.
Our recommended accommodations are centrally-located and highly reputed back-packer hostels. They are neat, clean, and great places to meet fellow travelers. Most have full service kitchens, laundromats, internet facilities, and safety deposit lockers.
We will assist you on the inter-city travel which will either be high-speed trains, flights, or by road.

The birthday boy (Dutch monarch) pays a visit to one city every year on King's Day, and the location is disclosed by the royal press closer to the celebration date.
People partying in the clubs of Berlin could easily fill a small town – around 50,000 people every night.
The narrowest street in Prague is barely 50 cm wide.
